Ni dia story:--Jason Torres, who now goes by the name Nicole Sanders, has had countless surgeries from nose jobs to breast implants and brow lifts in a quest to be like the iconic blonde.
-Nicole even had controversial silicone injections in her buttocks, thighs and hips to create the feminine curves of Barbie and hide the boyish frame of her previous life.
-Since the age of 18, Nicole has had five breast operations, four nose jobs, a brow lift, cheek implants, jaw surgery, chin implants, calf implants, filler injections in her lips, botox jabs and sexual reassignment surgery.
-Nicole, 30, said: 'Growing up I was always playing with Barbie dolls and I just loved the way she looked. I also admired sexy women like Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra and I knew deep down that I wanted to be like them.
-'It's hard to say exactly how much I have spent on surgery but it's definitely in the region of £200,000. I have had pretty much everything done except liposuction - I've always been naturally skinny.
-'I didn't want to be natural - I wanted to be glamorous and beautiful, just like Barbie.
-Troubled childhood: As a boy growing up in New Jersey, Nicole was frequently bullied
'The surgeries cost me a lot, but thankfully I had some rich boyfriends who helped me out along the way.'
-However, the road to Barbiedom was not a smooth one for Jason who, as a young boy growing up in New Jersey, suffered merciless bullying for being different.
-Having always felt like a girl in a boy's body, Jason attempted suicide at the age of 16 and was only rescued when his mother came home and found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
Nicole, who splits her time between New York and New Jersey, said: 'All through school I knew I was different. I only wanted to play with girls because I felt like I belonged with them, while the guys used to bully me, teasing me and calling me "gay" or "freak".
-'One day I'd just had enough and I took 100 paracetamol pills. I was slumped on the floor and my mother screamed when she saw me lying there.
-'I was taken to hospital and I stayed there for two months, having therapy and working through my issues. When I came out I knew that I wanted to change from a man to a woman.'
-Problems at home meant Jason was still unable to tell his family of his desire to become a woman and at the age of 17 he found himself kicked out of the house.
-After living on friends' sofas for a year, Jason moved to Manhattan where he found the New York club scene welcomed him with open arms and embraced his differences. Working as a dancer in gay clubs, Jason met his first drag queens and was struck by how beautiful they were. -It was at this point that he started his transformation into the stunning Nicole.
